Connections is a time when individuals in a group gather to focus, collect, and even share thoughts. Although these reflections can be warm and personal, they are usually also quite closely related to the group task.A quiet group meeting precedes our Forum work sessions. We try to sit in a circle, comfortably and patiently allowing the greater purposes of the group to merge with individual purposes. It is not a time for discussion or conversation or even planning.
Connections lingers long enough to support introspection and ends shortly after a gentle reminder: "If anyone is about to speak, now would be a good time."
