Current prices for each course start at $140. All individuals who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate indicating that they have completed 15 hours of professional development. This is equivalent to 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) that can be received from the Drexel University School of Education for a fee of $15 to cover administrative costs.

Grant-funded Online Workshops
Explore how technology can help students build mathematical understanding as they model and solve contextualized problems. Currently the $100 workshop fees are paid for participants by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Using Technology and Problem Solving to Build Algebraic Reasoning

 

Technology Tools for Thinking and Reasoning about Probability

 

Participants explore how technology can help students develop fundamental concepts of multiplication, fractions, division and area through the process of generating data and examining patterns. Microsoft Corporation and Drexel University are helping to support participant costs. One Continuing Education credit (ten contact hours) from Drexel University is available for a fee of $25.

 

Tools for Building Math Concepts

Online Master's in Mathematics Learning and Teaching
Drexel University's online program prepares teachers to incorporate creative, problem-based, student-centered instruction in their classroom, combining the strengths of Drexel University's School of Education and the Math Forum. Part- or full-time options are available. Take the full 45-credit course of study for the Master's, or get a 15-credit Certificate of Graduate Study.
