| CERFACS is one of the world's leading research institutes working on efficient algorithms for solving large-scale scientific problems. This involves the evaluation of existing, and the development of new tools which exploit high-performance serial, vector, and parallel computers. CERFACS, with 65 international researchers, ranging from experienced senior scientists to graduate students, is structured in specific projects, namely: parallel algorithms, computational fluid dynamics, climate modelling and global change, electro-magnetism, image and signal processing, and shape optimization. | |
